A Minnesota State University Moorhead faculty trombone recital featuring John Tesch and Marc LaChance, assisted by Catherine Tesch, clarinet and Michael Olson, piano, will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, September 10 in Weld Hall Glasrud Auditorium. It’s free and open to the public.

Featured will be works by Henri Tomasi, Thomas Zugger and Brian Lynn, among others.

Tesch, trombone and alto trombone, is the director of bands and professor of low brass at MSUM. He is also the conductor and music director for the Lake Agassiz Concert Band.

Fargo native LaChance, trombone, studied with Dr. Tesch while he was a student at Fargo North High School. He is currently on staff of Hastings (Neb.) College.
