American Indian Student Association holds Monday meeting

The American Indian Student Association will be holding their first meeting Monday, September 14 at 6 p.m. in CMU 214.

If you or your students are interested in learning about the American Indian culture, please join us! All are welcome! This meeting is VERY important!

We will be having our “Tribal” elections! Below are the descriptions for each of the positions. If you have any questions, please contact Jody Steile. At this meeting we will also be gearing up for the November Native American Heritage Month filled with awesome events, workshops, art demonstrations, and lectures. Let’s get this ball rolling!

There will be FREE FOOD!

Open Officer Positions (These descriptions may vary at the elected person’s discretion)

President: Maintain meetings and agendas; keep in direct contact with advisor Jody Steile; set up events, speakers, workshops, etc.

Vice President: Help the President in creating meeting agenda’s; aid the President; keep Facebook updated

Treasurer: Keep accurate budget accounts; plan and coordinate fundraising activities

Secretary: Record meeting minutes; send out meeting reminders through emails and Facebook
