SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE ENDS ON AUGUST 5 @ 4 p.m.
Supplies are still needed!
This MSUM school supply drive will run thru Wednesday, August 5th at 4:00 p.m., with distribution to children on Saturday, August 8th. NOTE: Last year, with the help of over 100 volunteers and over $100,000 in donated supplies, 3,765 children in Cass & Clay counties were sent to school with a complete set of supplies, ready to learn! With more than 6,872 children in Cass and Clay Counties who receive free and reduced school lunches there is still a tremendous need! UWCC’s goal for 2009 is to distribute 4,200 backpacks to children in need.
PLEASE help solve this critical need in our community by dropping off school supplies on or before Wednesday, August 5th, in the red barrels located outside the Human Resources office – OWENS 210.
ITEMS NEEDED:
New Backpacks, Highlighters, Markers, Notebooks, Pens, Pencil Boxes/Pouches, Scissors, Erasers, Loose Leaf Paper, Colored Pencils, Folders, Pencils, 1 inch 3-ring binders
