Designing Online Instruction and Teaching Online Workshops
On July 21-23, Instructional Technology Services will be presenting the 3 part workshops for teaching online.
Part 1: During this 3-hour session, participants will examine existing online classes, review quality standards for online classes, and explore applications that assist with the design of online instructional materials, including some free and easy-to-use Web 2.0 applications.
Part 2: During this 3-hour session, participants will investigate techniques for designing an online unit of instruction, including applications that support collaboration, and interactive activities.
Part 3: This 3-hour session will present ideas for innovative assessments and best practices and tips for teaching online.
