Dragon Tracks CD Release Party April 25
MSUM music students will host a Dragon Tracks CD release party Saturday, April 25 at 7:30 p.m. in the Roland Dille Center for the Arts Gaede Stage. It’s free and open to the public.
Two groups are releasing CDs under the mantle of “Dragon Studios Presents” a faculty-mentored initiative allowing music industry students the opportunity to perform, record and produce work toward a full-length release.
“Agent Biscuit” is a jazz fusion trio playing high-energy originals with student members Adam Hochstatter, Chad Mathis and Peter Johnson. “Inside out Strings” play a bluegrass/jazz/folk concoction of originals with student members Nate Pitcher, Steve Burket and Ross Cameron.
The Dragon Tracks XIV CD similarly features the playing, recording and producing talents of MSUM music industry students over the last year.
A reception and CD sales will follow the concert, with all proceeds going to fund future Dragon Tracks releases.
