Celebration of Nations, Unity Conference Combined This Thursday

Join us for a Celebration of Multicultural Unity on Thursday, April 16. All of the events are free and open to the public. The Multicultural Affairs Office and the International Student Affairs together are joining forces to organize this event in place of the Unity Conference and the Celebration of Nations, which were canceled due to weather and the flood related circumstances.
The day’s events include:
10:30 a.m. The U.S. Latino & Latina WWII Oral History Project: Filling in the Gaps
1:30 p.m. Media Coverage of Latinos: We’re Not There Yet
6 p.m. Celebration of Multicultural Unity
Both events will return to their regular format next year.

Visit the Multicultural Affairs website for more information, or contact Greg Wymer 477-2940 or Abner Arauza 477-2721.
The Celebration of Multicultural Unity is a collaborative event of the Multicultural Affairs Office, International Student Affairs, Organizacion Latina Americana, and the International Student Organization with funds from the Cultural Diversity Events Fund and the Student Activity Budget Committee.
