Hansen, Economics; Sheila Marquardt, School of Teaching and Learning; Alison Wallace, Biosciences; and Deb White, Sociology and Criminal Justice; attended a “Flipped the Classroom” workshop sponsored by the NorthEast Regional Computing Program and held at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass. on Dec. 3.

Economics faculty participate in Agricultural and Applied Economics Association Annual Meeting

Vernon Dobis, Economics, and T. J. Hansen, Economics, participated in the Agricultural and Applied Economics Association (AAEA) Annual Meeting in Seattle, Wash., August 12-14, 2012. AAEA members specialize in applied economics research focused on agriculture and the environment, growth and development, and rural and regional economies. Hansen served as one of the judges for the AAEA’s Graduate Student Extension Competition.

T. J. Hansen, Economics, and Laura Kalambokidis, associate professor of applied economics at the University of Minnesota, were interviewed for an article in the fedgazette, a regional business and economics newspaper published by the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis.
