Steve Hoffbeck, History, has joined the writing team for Dakota Datebook, to tell stories of North Dakota’s history every day of the year. Each datebook story is about five minutes long and relates what happened on that date in the past, whether it is an anniversary of a big event, such as the establishment of Grand Forks Air Force Base in the 1950s, or a story that tells about what life was like in the past in the state of North Dakota in connection with a date on the calendar.
