Stephenson Beck (NDSU, Communications Department) and Keri DeSutter (School of Teaching and Learning) received acceptance of their article “Special Education Meetings: The Role of the Facilitator” in the journal Rural Special Education Quarterly.
Keri DeSutter (School of Teaching and Learning) and Stephenson Beck (NDSU, Communication Studies, Chair) provided a professional development session during Fargo Public Schools Teaching and Learning Academy on August 15, 2019. Their session was titled Effective IEP Meeting Facilitation Techniques and was attended by special education teachers and school psychologists.
Stephenson Beck (NDSU) and Keri DeSutter’s (School of Teaching and Learning) manuscript titled “An Examination of Group Facilitator Challenges and Problem-Solving Techniques During IEP Team Meetings” has been accepted for publication in the journal Teacher Education and Special Education. The journal is published in association with the Teacher Education Division of the Council for Exceptional Children
