Spanish club is hosting Salsa Night! This Wednesday, October 21st come and dance Salsa, merengue, bachata (and other Latin dances) with us! We hope to see you at the underground in the CMU at 8:00 pm. We’ll have free food and drinks! Just bring your dancing spirit and learn to dance with us!
The Spanish Club and The Film Loop will present a captivating film that have won important awards around the world. Pan’s Labyrinth, is based in the falangist Spain of 1944, the bookish young stepdaughter of a sadistic army officer escapes into an eerie but captivating fantasy world.
The Movie, Al Otro Lad, will be shown on Tuesday, Nov. 18 – 6:00pm, Bridges Hall 162. Al Oltro Lad is Gustavo Loza’s heart-tugging triptych of three youngsters venturing from home and into unknown territory which is a timely insight into the current debate about immigration and who gets left behind when a loved one emigrates.
