The GLBT Rainbow Endowed Scholarship was founded in 1999 by MSU Moorhead alumni, faculty and staff. The endowment recognizes students’ affirmation of GLBT identity and/or encourages service and leadership to the GLBT community. Award amounts are $500 – $1,000. Deadline is APRIL 29TH, 2011. Reminder that the Rainbow Christmas benefit event supporting MSUM’s Rainbow Scholarship, Minnkota Health Project, and the FM Pride Collective will be held Thursday, December 17th. There will be an auction and entertainment to raise funds for all three of these organizations. The event is being held at the I-Beam nightclub (1 block north of Hornbachers in Moorhead).
