Monday (5/15) afternoon and Tuesday (5/16) afternoon campus printing, scanning and copying may be unavailable some or most of the time while migration and software upgrades are taking place.
This does not affect Print Services in Grier.
Information Technology will be performing a mandatory upgrade of our network print control system starring at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 6.
The upgrade process will approximately 2.5 hours. During the upgrade, printing functionality will be unavailable.

New copy machines will be installed in Copy2Print Monday, Sept. 30 and Tuesday, Oct. 1. There will be limited service during the installation. Please plan your projects accordingly.
Under a renegotiated Xerox lease, Copy2Print is receiving new machines with upgraded features while also reducing costs by more than $84,000 per year.

No one needs reminding of the seismic shift we’re seeing in how we consume our media as once-analogue technologies make way for digital platforms and the gizmos we buy to host them. Ryan Christianson certainly doesn’t, and in relation to book publishing, he can boil it all down with startling word economy.
“Music was first, then it was video, and now it’s books,” he said. “It’s probably because books are very old technology, and people love old technology.”
But people also love new technology, and the dynamic between the two camps is working its way through Christianson’s own digital-only Knuckledown Press and through New Rivers Press, the teaching press operated out of Minnesota State University Moorhead, where he acts as an associate editor for its e-book series. Copy2Print will be closed July 8 and 9 for cleaning and maintenance. They will open again July 10 at 11 a.m. Please plan accordingly for your printing needs.
Copy2Print will begin summer hours for walk up service starting May 20. Summer hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday – Friday.
This is the last call for the printing of SAC presentation posters. There will be a $5 rush fee added to the total cost. If you still need yours printed, please bring to University Graphics immediately, located in the lower level of Weld Hall room 6.

While using campus lab computers, students may print from any MSUM printer. After selecting to print a document from a campus computer, locate the nearest printer and swipe your Dragon ID card at the printer release station, which is located next to the printer. The series of three information sessions to answer questions and provide more detailed information about campus printing begin this week. All staff and faculty are encouraged to attend.
The MSUM Marketing Department is holding a campus-wide Open Forum Thursday, April 21 in the CMU Ballroom (Section B and C) to discuss the plans for the new brand, the new website and the online print platform.
In these sessions, you’ll be able to preview the new academic mark that will complement the dragon logo, see a preview of the new visual identity system, and learn about the plans for the website launch and the implementation of a new online print platform.
