Adam O’Meara, senior lecturer from the University of Lincoln, UK, will speak about photography Thursday, November 4 at 10:30 a.m. in Weld Hall’s Glasrud Auditorium. Lincoln University is one of MSUM’s exchange sites for study abroad, with coursework available for Mass Communication, Film Studies, and Graphic Communication students.
Two Prairie Public documentaries have been honored with 2010 Emmy Awards. A Considered View: The Photography of Wayne Gudmundson, produced by Bob Dambach and edited by Dave Geck, was named best cultural documentary. Gudmundson is an MSUM Mass Communications professor. International Photography Competition. Two of his images will be exhibited at the Photo Marketing Association Imaging 2010 Convention in Anaheim, CA February 21-23, 2010. His work will be included in two 2010 PIEA International Traveling Photo Exhibitions that will tour major conventions, schools, colleges and museums for three years in the USA, United Kingdom, Australia, South Africa and Canada.
