Shantel Jagol, a senior in Paralegal, was selected as the Paralegal Community Service Achievement Scholarship Award winner by the American Association for Paralegal Education (AAfPE). The scholarship for $1,000 was awarded based upon substantial demonstrated participation in community service efforts while pursuing a Paralegal degree. This award was announced at the AAfPE National Conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico in October.
Professor Tracy Gompf, Paralegal, Department of Economics, Law and Politics, presented a Continuing Legal Education Webinar “Increase Profitability and Efficiency of Your Firm Through Paralegal Utilization” to regional attorneys on May 24. Candace Gould, Paralegal, submitted a winning essay for the Lambda Epsilon Chi (LEX) Scholarship.
