Paralegal student wins national scholarship

Shantel Jagol, a senior in Paralegal, was selected as the Paralegal Community Service Achievement Scholarship Award winner by the American Association for Paralegal Education (AAfPE). The scholarship for $1,000 was awarded based upon substantial demonstrated participation in community service efforts while pursuing a Paralegal degree. This award was announced at the AAfPE National Conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico in October.

Paralegal student selected for national essay scholarship

Candace Gould, Paralegal, submitted a winning essay for the Lambda Epsilon Chi (LEX) Scholarship. The LEX Scholarship is awarded by the American Association for Paralegal Educators (AAfPE), the national organization for paralegal programs. The Paralegal student group (MSPAM) is holding an event on Thursday, Nov. 20th to write holiday greetings to troops serving overseas. All those stopping in the Center for Business will have an opportunity to write a greeting.
