Faculty members of the School of Performing Arts are presenting a Faculty Recital Thursday, September 14, at 7:30 p.m. in Glasrud Auditorium in Weld Hall.

Performers are Terrie Manno, Kevin Priebe, Erynn Millard, David Ferreira, Tiana Grise, Earnest Lamb, Elise Nelson, Jenny Dufault, Stephen Sulich (Concordia College faculty member performing as a guest), Kevin Zepper (MSUM English faculty member performing as a guest), Tom Strait, Michael Krajewski and Allen Carter. Michael Krajewski presented at ATMI and CMS national conference

Dr. Michael J. Krajewski, Music, presented a lecture/demonstration at the national Association of Technology in Music Instruction (ATMI) and College Music Society (CMS) conference in Cambridge, Massachusetts in October 2013. His lecture titled “Developing Interactive Course Material” received rave reviews. In addition Krajewski chaired a session at the conference titled “Big Sound, Small Devices.”

Michael J. Krajewski, Music, will present a master class on Improvisation at the University of Minnesota School of Music, Twin Cities on Friday, April 12 at 3:30 p.m. in Lloyd Ultan Recital Hall. The master class is free and open to the public.

Michael J. Krajewski, music, has recently been selected to present at the College Music Society (CMS) and Association for Technology in Music Instruction (ATMI) conference Fall 2013 in Cambridge, Mass. His session will focus on “Developing Interactive Course Material.”

Music Department recital Feb. 21

A recital featuring members of the MSUM Music Department is set for Thursday, Feb. 21, at 7:30 p.m. on the Gaede Stage in the Roland Dille Center for the Arts. Performers are Tom Christianson, Andrew P. Clemenson, Kenyon Williams, Robin Allebach, Sue Nagel, Monte C. Grisé, Terrie Manno, Jenny Dufault, Michael Krajewski, Jennifer Tackling, Tim Nelson and Elise Buffat Nelson. A work for piano composed by faculty member Jeffrey Izzo will also be performed. The recital is free and open to the public.
