December 13, 7 p.m., Weld 106 Selections and award presentations of student film production work. Eligible work from all film production courses are played for adjudicators (usually three judges made up of local professionals, alumni and campus/community members). They choose a selection of work across classes (from freshmen to senior level courses) and award winners. Light refreshments will be served.
MSUM Film Studies will host the semi-annual Juried Film Exhibition at 7 p.m. Friday, May 7 in Weld Hall Glasrud Auditorium. The exhibition will showcase the best film and video work produced during the semester, as adjudicated by a panel consisting of alumni, local professionals and MSUM community members. Awards will be presented to students, and light refreshments will be served. The exhibition is free and open to the public.

The jury will be choosing work from the semester’s production classes, which include Film 172: Video Production, Film 284: Beginning Filmmaking, Film 384: Techniques of Directing, Film 484: Intermediate Filmmaking, and Film 485: Advanced Filmmaking.
