New Rivers Press author Gary Peter took home the IPPY gold medal in LGBT+ fiction for his debut collection Oranges. All New Rivers Press titles are screened, designed, edited, and marketed by MSUM students in the Integrated English and Publishing major and the English, Mass Communications, and Graphic Communications departments.
New Rivers Press author Gary Peter was featured on National Public Radio’s Selected Shorts live reading and podcast episode Shout It Out: Stonewall Uprising at 50. The live performance and celebration was held at the Symphony Space in New York City.
