Young Readers Day is today

Join The Dragon Entertainment Group and Education Minnesota Student Program on Wednesday, April 23 from 3 -5:30 p.m. in the newly renovated Livingston Lord Library Lobby. They are hosting a celebration of books for children. Bring your youngsters, participate in fun activities and hear some cool Dragons read books. All are welcome. If you would like to volunteer to read aloud, email entertainment@mnstate.edu for more information.

Attention education majors: EMSP’s first meeting is Monday

Do you wish to get more out of your major? Come to our first chapter meeting for the education organization on campus: Education Minnesota Student Program Monday, Oct. 21, at 7 p.m. in the CMU ballroom. This first meeting will be an introduction to our program, and an informal way to hear about the things planned for this upcoming year. Get involved! It is a great way to network with education peers, our STL professors, and our community at large. Come to find out ways to learn about our profession, volunteer in our area and have fun. We hope to see you then.
