Fryer gets published in top jazz magazine
Nick Fryer, Assistant Professor of Music, has been published in top jazz magazine DownBeat. The January 2010 issue will feature Fryer’s article “Carbonic”, an analysis and transcription of Brad Shepik’s improvised solo from his latest release “Human Activity Suite”. DownBeat has been the premier jazz journal for 75 years, has a monthly circulation of 70,000, and is distributed worldwide.
