The MSUM Criminal Justice Association will be hosting a screening of the documentary “Untouchable” on Thursday, April 27, from 6-8:30 p.m. The screening will be held in the Comstock Memorial Union Ballroom and will be followed by a panel discussion with members of the Minnesota Sex Offender Reentry Project. This event is an opportunity for students, faculty, and all members of the Fargo-Moorhead community to be involved in a progressive discussion about such a sensitive issue. The discussion will also promote knowledge of re-integration and healing, as well as of the programs that are offered for both sex offenders and victims. Read the rest of this entry →

The Criminal Justice Association is hosting a guest speaker on 3/24/15 from 3:30-5PM. Mike Schommer (2012 MN Department of Corrections Agent of the Year) will be on campus to talk about a variety of criminal justice related topics including high risk supervision, sex offender treatment, and motivational interviewing. If you are interested in hearing more from Agent Schommer, please join us in Lommen Hall 207! Light snacks will be provided.

The Criminal Justice Association is pleased to announce we will be hosting a speaker from the Minnesota Department of Corrections. Supervisor Schommer will be giving an informative presentation on the Minnesota Sex Offender Program. The event is Monday, April 28 at 5:30pm in Lommen 203. The event is open to everyone!

Criminal Justice Association will be hosting an Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms representative from St. Paul on March 5 at 10 a.m. in Lommen 91. ATF is currently hiring and students from all majors and departments are welcome to attend.
