Carol Sibley, librarian, is retiring after 32 years of service to MSUM. A party to honor Carol will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 11, from 4:30-8 p.m., at the Speak Easy in Moorhead. Carol Hanson Sibley, Library, presented a paper at the Children’s Literature Association Conference in Biloxi, Miss. The paper, entitled “Synergy at Play: The Tug of War in Kevin Henkes’ Owen,” honored the 2013 Phoenix Picture Book Award. She also served on the committee to select the 2014 picture book award.
