The Trustee Candidate Advisory Council (TCAC) is extending the application deadline for three positions on the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities Board of Trustees. The Minnesota State Colleges and Universities Board of Trustees will host four listening sessions around the state to gather comments on how the state colleges and universities system can better meet the public’s needs in light of fiscal and demographic challenges. Governor Tim Pawlenty has announced the appointment of Christopher Frederick to the Minnesota State College and Universities (MnSCU) Board of Trustees. Frederick, of Mankato, is a student at Minnesota State University (MSU), Mankato, where he is working towards a master of science degree in mathematics.
