Automated external defibrillator alarms

Recently some campus members have reported that several automated external defibrillators (AEDs) across campus are creating an audible alarm, much like a smoke detector does when its battery is low. The audible “chirping” alarm is due to the AED’s battery getting low on charge. New batteries are on order, but there’s a nationwide back order on Cardiac Science replacement batteries. […]

CPR training offered August 4, 5

Two training workshops are being provided on the topics of Hands-Only CPR, how to use an automated external defibrillator, and other emergency action principles.
