The Tri-College NEW (National Education for Women’s) Leadership Development Institute, coordinated by Dr. Deborah White, Sociology, was recently awarded a $3,000 grant from West Central Initiative. West Central Initiative is a regional community foundation that serves nine counties in west central Minnesota. The grant will be used to help fund the 2013 Institute.
Dr. Annette Kleinkauf Morrow will present a lecture entitled “Searching for Perpetua: A Research Topic and Travelogue” April 25 at 7 p.m. in CB 109. This lecture is part of the Tri-College History Lecture Series. The lecture is free and open to the public.

The Guitar studio of Michael J. Krajewski will present a recital March 26, at 7:30 p.m. in Gaede Theater. Student performances by Rachel Burckhard, Michael Lauer, Riley Gutormson, Conor Lee, Matt Seidel, and Troy Viau will join the MSUM guitar ensemble and Tri-College jazz combo featuring Chad Hanson, Andrew Stermer and NDSU music major, Andy Long.
