Six RN to BSN students, along with one graduate student and nursing faculty, Jane Bergland, returned after a 10-day trip to Nicaragua. The nurses joined the MEDICO medical team in Managua then headed up north to Jalapa where care was focused on children with handicaps and their families. The Early Education Center is hosting an open gym from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 9. This event is free to the community. It is for children 16 months to 6 years of age. Children must be accompanied by an adult. www.mnstate.edu/childcare
