The asteroid 14825 Fieber-Beyer was named for Dr. Sherry Fieber-Beyer by the International Astronomical Union in mid-July. Dr. Fieber-Beyer, who graduated from MSUM with a B.A. in Physics with Emphasis in Astronomy, is currently a postdoctoral research at the University of North Dakota, where she obtained her Masters and Ph.D. While at MSUM she did research on main belt asteroids […]
