Junior music major Coen Hakeboom has been awarded the Dorothy Sewall Hector Scholarship. This piano competition is held every spring and is open to all undergraduate piano students in the Fargo-Moorhead area. Coen is a student of Dr. Terrie Manno.
MSUM students gave back to their communities in a big way this semester by becoming volunteers with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program, where they helped low-to-moderate income families who needed assistance preparing their 2015 tax returns.
Monday, May 2, will be a last chance sale from the MSUM SVA students. The sale will run from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. and will feature a wide variety of prints and illustrated works for sale. Come on down while the press is still hot and while the buttons are still available!
