Dr. Erin Gillett, Professor in the School of Teaching and Learning, and her colleague, Abbey Payeur, Bethel University, St. Paul, presented a session at the Summer Conference of the Association of Teacher Educators in Nashville. The title of their presentation was Supporting Each Other: Shifting to the Science of Reading in Minnesota’s Teacher Preparation Programs.
Dr. Doris Walker-Dalhouse, professor emerita of literacy, School of Teaching & Learning, co-edited a recently published literacy text by Teachers College Press entitled Culturally Sustaining Literacy Pedagogies: Honoring students’ heritages, literacies, and languages.
Jed Locquiao (School of Teaching and Learning) and Tammy Abernathy (College of Education, University of Nevada-Reno) learned their manuscript, “Moral Reasoning” has been published in Routledge Resources Online-Education.
