The Indigenous Media Freedom Alliance invited Professor Brad Bachmeier to help facilitate a pottery workshop June 17-18 at Twin Buttes, ND, on the Fort Berthold Reservation. Bachmeier presents ceramics workshop, exhibit for Muddy Waters Ceramic Center in Grand Forks

Saturdays June 22 and 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Brad Bachmeier will demonstrate pottery making and firing techniques that will include low-fire and atmospheric firing specialties including raku, horse-hair, slip-resist and obvarra firing techniques. Bachmeier will give an artist talk and exhibit a preview selection of his traveling exhibit “Conservation Through Clay.”

Project: Exhibitions

April 23 – June 28 A show consisting of four smaller exhibitions. Three are presented by students in the Professional Portfolio Development program and students participating in the Exhibitions class. Students have designed, curated, juried, and installed professional-level work resulting in innovative and creative art exhibits. The fourth exhibition will feature prints made by MSUM’s year-long visiting artist, Shaina Davis.
