The Indigenous Media Freedom Alliance invited Professor Brad Bachmeier to help facilitate a pottery workshop June 17-18 at Twin Buttes, ND, on the Fort Berthold Reservation. Saturdays June 22 and 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Brad Bachmeier will demonstrate pottery making and firing techniques that will include low-fire and atmospheric firing specialties including raku, horse-hair, slip-resist and obvarra firing techniques. Bachmeier will give an artist talk and exhibit a preview selection of his traveling exhibit “Conservation Through Clay.”
