Physics and Astronomy research presented at European Materials Research Society meeting

Work done in the Department of Physics and Astronomy was presented at the 2012 European Materials Research Society meeting in Strasbourg, France. Physics students Pragalv Karki, Ravindra Regmi, Tom Mooney, and Andrew Larson worked with Dr. Ananda Shastri to analyze proton motion in the sodium thio-hydroxogermanate proton conductors. Professor Ruth Lumb receives Chinese government research grant

Professor Ruth Lumb, School of Business, and Professor Yu Lixin, PhD, School of Management, at Xi’an University of Science & Technology have received a research grant from Shaanxi Provincial Government of China. There were over 7,000 applicants from top universities, research institutions and enterprises. The Provincial Government issued grants to the top 200 applicants.
