Oscar Flores, Economics, presented the paper “The Impact Of Unemployment on College Retention: A Panel Analysis” coauthored with Tony Jo Hansen, at the 50th meetings of the Missouri Valley Economics Association in Kansas City, MO. Flores is a past president of the organization.
Steve Grineski, STL, and Carole Braschayko, Elementary Inclusive Education major and Honors Apprentice, had a manuscript published in The Sophist’s Bane: A Journal of the Society of Professors of Education. The article is titled, “Speaking out about corporate school reform.” Braschayko presented this work at the undergraduate conferences on the Moorhead and Mankato campuses.
MSUM was host to the 8th Undergraduate Research in the Molecular Sciences Meeting (URMS8) on Oct. 4 and 5.
