MSUM alumni Nels Onstad (MS ’03 Educational Leadership and BS ’95 Mathematics Education) is currently the Minnesota Department of Education Director of Personnel Licensing. Nels moved to MDE after serving several years as the West Central Public School Secondary Principal.
Dr. Julie Swaggert, Educational Leadership, presented in early February at the Ethnographic and Qualitative Research Conference sponsored by the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Her co-presenter was Neil Gleason, Clinical Psychology graduate student at MSU Mankato. The poster session based on school research completed in Africa, was titled: “Distributed Leadership at a High-Performing School in Rural Zambia: A Case Study.”
