Brian Wisenden, Biosciences, is this year’s Dille speaker. His talk is entitled “Minnows and Cichlids and Worms! Oh My! The Behavioral ecology of predator avoidance as uncovered by undergraduate researchers”. The talk is Wednesday, Sept. 18 from 7 to 8 p.m. SL 118. The talk is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.
The winner of the Idaho Prize for Poetry 2013—selected by final judge, Sam Hamill—is THE GOLD SHOP OF BA-‘ALI by Yahya Frederickson, professor of English at MSU Moorhead. Dr. Lisa Stewart, School Psychology, met with the principal and elementary staff on Sept. 9 to work on the implementation of Response to Intervention (RTI) and begin training on the FAST assessment measures and data management system.
