Dr. David Tack, STL, presented with the Detroit Lakes instructional coaches, superintendent, and assistant superintendent of curriculum at the Minnesota School Board Association Leadership Conference on January 16.
Michael J. Krajewski, Music, recently received a Dille Fund for Excellence grant for his proposal, “Developing Live Composition and Performance Techniques with Abelton Live.” Krajewski will present a public lecture/demonstration during the Fall 2015 semester.
Aaron Quanbeck, School of Communication and Journalism, recently won the Top Paper award in the Debut Paper category of the Broadcast Education Association. Quanbeck’s paper, “A Rhetorical/Interpretive Analysis of Edward R. Murrow’s Criticism of Broadcast Journalism,” will be presented at the Association’s annual convention in Las Vegas in April.
Brian Wisenden, Biosciences, has had a paper accepted for publication in the international peer-reviewed Journal of Fish Biology.
