Planetarium hosts 400+ at Stars of PBS event

On Saturday, Feb. 4 the MSUM Planetarium partnered with Prairie Public and sponsored by Moore Engineering to bring the 3rd Annual Stars of PBS to campus. The event featured the planetarium show, “One World, One Sky: Big Bird’s Adventure,” showing every 45 minutes throughout the day and activities ranging from playing with light and shadows, creating mini-planetariums, boom whackers, dippin dots, trips to the moon, and others. Planetarium Holiday Shows

The Planetarium is currently showing two holiday shows. “Star of Wonder: Mystery of the Christmas Star” is about uncovering the mystery of the Christmas star. The other show is titled “Season of Light” and reveals the history of fascinating holiday traditions. 

3 New Planetarium Shows This Fall

The MSUM Planetarium began featuring three brand new shows on Oct. 1!
