Department of Physics and Astronomy professor Matt Craig gave a talk titled “Widgets and Astropy: Accomplishing Productive Research with Undergraduates” and organized the Astropy code sprint at the 14th Annual SciPy conference. SciPy is devoted to applications of the computer language python to a wide area of physical, social and data sciences.
