Kandace Creel Falcón, Director of Women’s and Gender Studies presented her research at the National Women’s Studies Association meeting in San Juan, Puerto Rico November 13-16. She presented a paper titled, “Railway Visions and Chicana Lives: Realizing the Chicana Feminist Interdisciplinary Archive.” Her work was one of over 500 presentations at the largest attended NWSA conference with over 1500 attendees.
Kathryn Lucero, double major in Women’s and Gender Studies and Philosophy participated in a panel discussion at NDSU, Thursday, November 13th. An event with experts focused on Women’s Health & Wellness specifically for college students is scheduled on Wednesday, November 19th at 7:00 p.m. in the Dille Center for the Arts, Gaede Stage. The event will include short presentations on topics chosen by MSUM students and a panel discussion where the experts will answer anonymous questions from the audience.
