Beginning with the 2025-2026 academic year, Minnesota residents must submit the FAFSA by the 30th calendar day of the semester to be considered for Minnesota Aid programs, including the Minnesota State Grant and North Star Promise. The 30th calendar day for fall 2025 is September 23. If you have already submitted the 2025-2026 FAFSA, no action is required.
