Remembrance ceremony for MSUM student tonight

There will be a candlelight ceremony in memory of Nicole Olstad-Werre Thursday, September 16 at 7 p.m. in the campus mall. This remembrance ceremony is sponsored by residents of first floor Dahl, where Nicole lived. Nicole was a freshman student from Galesburg, N.D., and a member of the Elementary Education learning community on campus. Nicole died early Saturday morning as a result of injuries suffered in a car accident near Hope.

WALKtober: Same idea NEW rules

Get your “WALK ON” with the WALKtober challenge sponsored by the Hendrix Health Center Wellness Educators during the month of October. Walking 10,000 steps a day will burn approximately an extra 2,700 calories per week. Walking helps achieve good health and weight loss. Click link to rad more.

We need advisors

Every year students begin the process of becoming a student organization. However, one requirement of becoming a recognized student organization is having a MSUM faculty or staff advisor.
