An MSUM student art exhibit will be on display Nov. 16-Dec. 2 in the Roland Dille Center for the Arts gallery. The exhibit is in partial fulfillment of students’ B.S. and B.A. degrees in art. The exhibit will feature ceramics, graphic design, painting, drawing and printmaking. A reception for the artists will be held from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19 in the gallery. Herb Trenz has been appointed interim director of Human Resources at Minnesota State University Moorhead. Trenz has more than 30 years of experience in human resources, including 17 years as the director of Human Resources for the College of St. Benedict, St. John’s University and the Order of St. Benedict. John Volk, Art & Design, and student Jennifer Scheuer, from the Printmaking program in the Department of Art & Design, will be holding demonstrations for approximately 1,800 area elementary school students during the next three weeks. The demonstrations will be held in the Hannaher Print Studio at the Plains Art Museum, where Volk is the featured artist and Scheuer is the student intern.
