Chang-Seong Hong presents Buddhist lecture March 10

Chang-Seong Hong, Philosophy, will present alecture on “Empty Persons and Morality–A Buddhist Approach” Thursday, March 10 at 4 p.m. in Center for Business CB 105. Please notice the time change: it’s 4 p.m., not 7 p.m. as previously scheduled. Hong’s lecture is a part of the 2010-2011 MSUM Deans’ Lecture Series. 

Fuselier, Malott, Bougary get published in BAMBED

Linda Fuselier, Biosciences & Women’s Studies, Dean Michelle Malott, Social and Natural Sciences, and student Azhar Bougary, published a manuscript in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Education (BAMBED) in a special edition issue on innovations in molecular biology education. The article is entitled “From trace evidence to bioinformatics: putting bryophytes into molecular biology education.” BAMBED 39(1): 38-46.

MSUM hosts Regional History Day March 22

MSUM will host the West Central Regional History Day, Tuesday, March 22 from 3 to 7 p.m. in the Comstock Memorial Union Ballroom. It’s free and open to the public. Softchalk is an application that allows you to easily create web-based instructional units. It’s wonderfully easy to learn and use. The units can be uploaded onto any website or into a course management system such as Moodle or D2L.
