Provost finalists visit campus

Two finalists for the position of Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs will visit MSUM in the next two weeks. Both individuals have excellent qualifications, and we are honored that they have considered MSU Moorhead for the next step in their careers.

Wally Sizer recognized for service at math association meeting

Wally Sizer, Mathematics, was awarded the 2011 North Central Section of the Mathematical Association of America Certificate for Meritorious Service at the April 16 NCS/MAA meeting at Carleton College. Walter Sizer and Wayne Chen, both Mathematics, attended the spring meeting of the North Central Section of the Mathematical Association of America April 15-16 at Carleton College.  Wally Sizer made the presentation, “Period Two Solution to some Systems of Rational Difference Equations.”
