Sandy Pearce, English, presented a paper at the James Joyce International Symposium in Dublin this June. After a week of scholarly presentations and plenary lectures, the Symposium ended with hours of festivities on June 16th, Bloomsday, the day that Joyce’s fictional character Leopold Bloom walks the streets of Dublin.
