Brian Wisenden, Biosciences, gave the 200th presentation of his career when he delivered an invited keynote address to the Society of Experimental Biology, in Salzburg, Austria on June 30, 2012. His talk was entitled “Behavioural responses of aquatic organisms to chemical information about predation risk.” Almost all of the research presented in the talk was conducted by undergraduates.
MSUM’s School of Teaching and Learning hosted the Valley Partnership’s New Teacher Academy on campus yesterday. The event is part of a partnership with NDSU and VCSU. New teachers were invited to attend a free one-day New Teacher Summer Academy to help them get started in their first classroom experience.

By: Forum staff reports, INFORUM MOORHEAD – Longtime Minnesota State Moorhead cross country coach Fred Dahnke is among eight who will be inducted into the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Hall of Fame on Wednesday in St. Cloud, Minn. Dahnke, who lives in Barnesville, Minn., ran track at MSUM before graduating in 1971.
