Biosciences students’ research accepted for publication

Biosciences majors Emily Mammenga, Carissa Storseth and Noah Berglund have had their research accepted for publication in the international peer-reviewed journal Animal Behaviour. The title of their manuscript is “Odor-tracking by young convict cichlids and a mechanism for alloparental brood amalgamation.” The research was mentored by Brian Wisenden.  

Recent death: Charles Magel

Charles Russell Magel passed away peacefully on March 22, 2014. He was born on June 3, 1920 in Burlington, Iowa.
