The 10th annual World of Change conference for regional teachers of the social and natural sciences and mathematics will be held on campus Monday, Oct. 26. It is sponsored by the College of Social and Natural Sciences. Regional teachers from North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota will attend workshops hosted by faculty and staff members from Biosciences, Chemistry, Mathematics, Psychology, and Physics and Astronomy. MSU Moorhead is offering an online 3-credit biochemistry course that runs June 1-July 23 titled “Biomolecules and Metabolism” (Chem 490/590).
Biochemistry and biotechnology program faculty Joseph Provost and Mark Wallert received $60,900 in grants from the National Science Foundation and the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology to bring high school teachers and students to MSUM to research how lung cells move.
