“War Stories and other Fiction: Crafting Literature from Personal Experience,” is the topic of a Dean’s Lecture by MFA candidate Dan Nygard, at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20 in Comstock Memorial Union Room 101. He will discuss his experiences in the Iraq War and the process of turning them into a work of fiction.

Sue Peterson, Social Work, has had an article accepted for publication in the Journal of Social Work Education. It’s titled “Teaching Evidence-Based Practice at the BSW Level: An Effective Capstone Project.” Co-authors are Sue Peterson Amy Phillips, Shannon Bacon, (a former social work graduate of our program), and Zachary Machunda.
