MSUM in conjunction with the Department of Energy, Joint Genome Institute hosted a workshop in Microbial Genome Annotation. The workshop was held on campus Friday, Oct. 19 and Saturday, Oct. 20. Attendees learned how to utilize IMG-ACT, an online tool that can be incorporated into classrooms and research projects.
The Strategic Planning Committee started meeting this month to review and update the University’s strategic vision and plan in light of current and projected demographic, economic, political and employment trends.
