Oscar Flores, Economics, gave a talk at NDSU’s Department of Agribusiness and Applied Economics’ Brown Bag Seminar. The topic of Flores’s talk was on incorporating research in undergraduate teaching and learning in MSUM’s Economics Department.
Diane Wolter, Career Development Center, was selected to give two presentations at the recent Minnesota College Personnel Association annual meeting in Rochester, Minn. “Emerging Adults Theory and Identity Development” compared several college student identity development theories, and “What Brings Students to College?” examined students’ college choice process.
Provost Anne Blackhurst presented faculty with an initial prioritization of academic units Nov. 20 for review and response. The list was prepared using quantifiable measures including the number of majors within each program.
