Lamé’s Theorem is a little known result that describes a beautiful connection between the Fibonacci sequence and the Euclidean Algorithm on the integers. We will describe what this connection is, beginning with what how the Euclidean Algorithm works on the integers.
On Thursday, Feb. 26 at 7 p.m., MSUM professors Terrie Manno and Kevin Zepper will present a free performance that combines Manno’s music and Zepper’s poetry in Fox Recital Hall in the Roland Dille Center for the Arts on the MSUM campus.
Associate Professor Brad Bachmeier will be presenting a lecture on “Inside an Art Career” on Wednesday, February 25, 2015, at 6 p.m. in King Hall 110. The lecture is free and open to the public.
